The State Program Reports data is stored in AGID as two separate databases because of the significant change in reporting requirements between the years 2004 and 2005. There were a number of differences in the type of data collected and the structure and formats for individual or groups of data elements. However, there are many common data elements and the user is encouraged to make use of the Multi-Database feature of AGID to select and display data from all years of the SPR. The following highlights the similarities and differences between the main categories of data elements from the two versions of the database:

   SPR 2005-2008

  • Clients
  • Client Detail
  • Units
  • Expenditures
  • Providers
  • Focal Points & Senior Centers
  • Staffing
  • Grandparents - Characteristics by Age
  • Grandparents - Additional Data
  • Caregivers - Characteristics by Age
  • Caregivers - Additional Data
  • Legal Assistance/Abuse Prevention
   SPR 2000-2004

  • Clients
  • Client Detail
  • Units
  • Expenditures
  • Providers
  • Focal Points & Senior Centers
  • Staffing
As indicated above, for 2005 and beyond there are entirely new categories of data including Grandparents, Caregivers and Legal Assistance/Abuse Prevention expenditures. While the format and structure of the Client Detail data changed significantly, most of the remaining categories from the old and revised SPR databases retained the same basic data elements and structure. Notable exceptions include the addition of information for those at high nutrition risk in the Clients and Units data, and the addition of program income information in the Expenditures data category.
